World Middleweight Champion
Antuofermo won the World Middleweight Championship by defeating Hugo Corro in 1979 in Monte Carlo. He defended the title in a draw against Marvin Hagler and eventually lost the title to Alan Minter. He retired in 1984 with a record of 50-7-2 with 21 knockouts. Later, Antuofermo appeared in the film The Godfather, Part III.
