Four Time Pro Bowl Selection
The Oakland Raiders selected Chester in the first round of the 1970 NFL draft out of Morgan State. The tight end played three seasons with the Raiders before being dealt to the Baltimore Colts where he played from 1973 to 1977. Chester returned to the Raiders for three more seasons and was a member of the Super Bowl XV champions. He played the first season of the USFL with the Oakland Invaders. Chester played in four Pro Bowls (1907, '71, '72, '79). He finished his career with 364 receptions for 5,013 yards and 48 touchdowns.
