Three-time NFL All-Pro

A 13-year veteran, Cross was a second round selection out of UCLS by the San Francisco 49ers in the 1976 NFL Draft and spent his entire career in San Francisco. He was a three-time All-Pro (1981, 1982 and 1984) and Pro Bowler (1981, 1982 and 1984), Cross was a center and guard and helped lead the team to three Super Bowl Championships in 1982, 1985 and 1989. Cross began broadcasting career in 1989 with CBS, left to work with NBC and returned to the network in 1998. He was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 2010.
