1981 Pro Bowl Selection
A running back was a second round pick out of Ohio State in the 1977 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals, Johnson played the first seven season with the Bengals, before splitting the 1984 seasons between the Miami Dolphins and San Diego Chargers. His finest season came in 1981 where he rushed for 1,077 yards and scored 16 touchdowns. That year Johnson helped the Bengals to an appearance in Super Bowl XVI and also was selected for his only Pro Bowl. He finished his career with 5,626 yards rushing and 76 touchdowns.
