Two-Time All-Star

In 19 major league seasons as on outfielder for the Braves, Dodgers, Giants and A's Baker was an all-star in 1981 and '82, both while with the Dodgers. In 1981, Baker won the Gold Glove, the Silver Slugger and helped the Dodgers win the World Series. He hit .278 lifetime with 242 home runs and 1013 R.B.I. Since retirement, he has been the manager of the San Francisco Giants, Chicago Cubs and Cincinnati Reds, winning the National League Manager of the Year award in 1993, 1997 and 2000.
