Member of the Baseball Hall of Fame

Spending most of his career with the St. Louis Cardinals, Brock once held the single season stolen base record with 118 in 1975 and the career record with 938. Both have since been broken by Rickey Henderson. Brock collected 3,023 hits in his major league career and co-holds the record with 14 stolen bases in the World Series. He was named to six All-Star teams (1967, '71, '72, '74, '75, '79). His uniform number 20 was retired by the Cardinals in 1979. Brock was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1985.
