Bumbry played for the Baltimore Orioles as an outfielder for 13 of his 14 major league seasons, finishing with the San Diego Padres in 1985. He was the Rookie of the Year in 1973, batting .337. Bumbry was an All-Star in 1980 and batted .300 three times.
