Eadie played club rugby league for Manly-Warringah from 1971-'83. He represented both New South Wales and Australia from 1974-'80. For Manly-Warringah, Eadie won four premierships and scored 2,070 points, which was a record at the time of his retirement. He was a member of the Australian teams that won the 1975 Rugby League World Championship and the 1977 World Cup.
