Two World Cup Bronze Medals
Galica skied in three Olympics (1964, '68 and '72) for Great Britain, racing in all three events at each Games. She finished eighth in the giant slalom in 1968 and seventh in Sapporo. In 1968, she won two World Cup bronze medals in downhill. Following her alpine career, Galica took up auto racing. She raced on the Grand Prix circuit, but failed to qualify for a race in three attempts. At the age of 47, she returned to skiing and the Olympics. At the 1992 Games in Albertville, Galica represented Great Britain in the demonstration event of speed skiing.
