Heyhoe-Flint was a member of the English women's team from 1960-'82 and the captain from 1966-'78. In 1973, she captained the English team that won the first Women's Cricket World Cup. As a captain, England was undefeated in six test matches. She also played goalkeeper on the 1964 English women's field hockey team.
