1980 Olympic 70 Meter Champion

Innauer captured a silver medal at the 1976 Olympics on the 90 meter hill and came back four years later in Lake Placid to win the gold medal on the 70 meter hill. Innauer took second place at the 1977 World Ski Flying Championships. His 1980 Olympic victory led to his selection as the 1980 Austrian Athlete of the Year.
