Two Time AFL All-Star

Kiick was drafted by the Miami Dolphins in the fifth round of the 1968 AFL draft our of the University of Wyoming. He was an AFL All-Star in 1968 and '69. Kiick played for Miami from 1968 to 1977 and won two Super Bowls combining with Larry Csonka and Mercury Morris in the Dolphin backfield. Kiick and Csonka, along with Paul Warfield, defected to the upstart World Football League in 1975, signing a lucrative contract with the Memphis Southmen. The league folded two-thirds of the way through the season. Kiick returned to the NFL in 1976 playing part of a season and a half with the Denver Broncos and then one game with the Washington Redskins in 1977.
