1980 Pro Bowl Selection

The Houston Oilers drafted King, a running back from Oklahoma, in the third round of the 1979 NFL draft. The following year the Oilers traded him to the Raiders where he spent the rest of his career, until 1985. In 1980, he was selected to play in the Pro Bowl and caught a then-record 80 yard touchdown pass in Super Bowl XV, to lead the Raiders to victory. He also was a member of the Raiders' Super Bowl XVIII champions. King finished his career with 2,477 rushing yards and seven touchdowns.
