1981 SUPERTEAMS FINAL
A first in Superteams, as the two contestants both represented the same city. Both teams played their home games in the same facility, Veterans Stadium. The Eagles won the first two events, while the Phillies game back to win the next three. The football squad captured the outrigger war canoe race to set up the decisive tug of war. The Eagles took the early lead in the final event and held the advantage until the end of the the ten minute time limit.
