Four-Time Pro Bowl Selection, co-MVP of Super Bowl XII
Defensive end who was a third round pick out of East Texas State, Martin played his entire N.F.L. career for the Cowboys, 1973-'83. Was selected to four Pro Bowls (1976-'79). He totaled 114 career sacks including 20 in 1977, the season that culminated with a Cowboy win in Super Bowl XII in which Martin shared MVP honors with Randy White and was named the N.F.L. Defensive Player of the Year. Martin passed away at age 51 from pancreatic cancer.
