Pescarolo participated in 64 races on the Formula One cicuit from 1968 to '76, scoring 12 points. He finished a high of third at the 1973 Grand Prix of Monte Carlo, the same year where he had a best finish of 12th in the world championship standings. Pescarolo drove in the 24 Hours of LeMans a record 33 times (1966-'68, '70-'99), winning the race four times (1972-'74, '84).
