Two Time All-Star
Ruthven pitched fourteen seasons with the Philadelphia Phillies (1973-'75, '78-'83), Atlanta Braves (76-'78) and Chicago Cubs ('83-'86). He was an All-Star in 1976 and '81 and helped the Phillies win their first World Series in 1980. Ruthven finished his career with a 123-127 record and a 4.14 ERA.
