In 1961 Sangster reached the semifinals of both Wimbledon and the U.S. Open. He reached the French Open semifinals in 1963. Sangster played 65 Davis Cup matches for Great Britain between 1960 and 1968, winning 43. He died of a heart attack while playing golf at the age of 44.SUPERSTARS RECORD
