Sikma was drafted out of Illinois Wesleyan by the Seattle SuperSonics with the eighth overall pick in the 1977 NBA draft. The center played 14 seasons in the NBA, with the Seattle Supersonics (1977-'86) and the Milwaukee Bucks ('86-'91). Sikma was seven-time NBA All-Star ('79-'85), and won the 1979 NBA Championship with Seattle. Sikma finished his career with 17,827 points and 10,816 rebounds.
