Stabler, known as "The Snake" was a quarterback who led the Oakland Raiders to victory in Suepr Bowl XI. Drafted in the second round in 1968 out of Alabama, Stabler played for the Raiders from 1970 to 1979, the Houston Oilers from 1980-'81 and the New Orleans Saints from 1982-'84. With the Raiders, Stabler played in four Pro Bowls (1973, '74, '76 and '77), won the M.V.P. in 1974 and the Bert Bell Award in 1976. He was also a member of the 1970's All-Decade team.
