A goaltender for the Montreal Canadiens, Los Angeles Kings, Detroit Red Wings and Boston Bruins from 1966-'82. He was a three-time All-Star (1973, '75 & '78) and was named to the All-Tournament team in helping Canada win the 1976 Canada Cup. He won three Stanley Cups with Montreal and was the 1968 Vezina Trophy winner as the league's best goaltender.
