Member of the International Rugby Hall of Fame
Williams played 51 times for the Welsh national team between 1969 and '81, winning the Grand Slam of the Five Nations Tournament in 1971, '76 & '78. Williams also played eight times for the British Lions between 1971 and '74. He was among the first class of members inducted into the International Rugby Hall of Fame in 1997.
