1962 National League Most Valuable Player

Playing eight seasons as shortstop of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Wills was an five-time all-star (1961, '62, '63, '65 & '66) and led the league in stolen bases every year from 1960 through 1965. He was the M.V.P. in 1962 when he set a then-record of 104 stolen bases in a season, and played a record of 165 games in the regular season, a record which still stands. He played with the Pirates and Expos before finishing with the Dodgers from 1969 to '72. Wills won the Gold Glove in 1962 & '62 and was an All-Star Game M.V.P. in 1962.
