A first round pick out of Missouri by the San Diego Chargers in the 1979 NFL draft, the tight end spent his entire nine year career with the Chargers. Winslow's defining moment came when he had 13 catches, and a blocked field goal in 1981 playoff win over the Miami Dolphins. Consensus All-Pro in 1980, '81 and '82, he played in five Pro Bowls (1980-'83, '87). Winslow finished with a career record of 541 receptions, 6,741 yards and 45 TDs. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1995. His won, Kellen Winslow II, played ten seasons in the NFL as a tight end.
