Five Time All-Star
Bell, the son a major leaguer Gus and and father of major leaguers David and Mike. He played 18 seasons in the majors with the Cleveland Indians, Texas Rangers, Cincinnati Reds and Houston Astros. Bell was an All-Star five times (1973, '80-82 and '84), he won the Gold Glove Award six times (1979-'84) and finished with 2,514 career hits and 201 home runs. He later served as the manager of the Detroit Tigers, Colorado Rockies and Kansas City Royals.
