Four Time Pro Bowl Selection
Carmichael was a fourth round selection out of Southern University by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 1971 NFL Draft. Carmichael would play for the Eagles through 1983 and for the Dallas Cowboys in 1984. He caught passes in a then-record 127 consecutive games and ended his pro career in 1984 as the sixth-leading receiver in NFL history (590 catches for 8,985 yards). Carmichael played in four Pro Bowls (1973, '78-'80) and was a member of the NFL's 1970s All-Decade Team.
