Daly raced in 49 Formula One Grand Prix races, between 1978 and 1982. His highest finish was fourth at both the 1980 Argentinian and British Grand Prix. Daly raced in the Indianapolis 500 six times, a high of 12th in 1985.He finished fourth in the 1988 24 Hours of Le Mans with Kevin Cogan and Larry Perkins.
