Member of the International Rugby Hall of Fame

Edwards played 53 times for the Welsh national team between 1967 & '78 and ten times for the British Lions from 1971 to '74. He helped the Welsh team win the Five Nations Championship seven times during Edwards' career and the grand slam three times. In 1997, Edwards was a member of the inagural class of the International Rugby Hall of Fame. In 2001 he was voted the Greatest Welsh Player of all-time.
