1976 Olympic Team Champion
Fox competed in four Olympics for Great Britian. In 1964, he finished 29th in the individual event and ninth in the team; 1968 in Mexico City saw him place eighth in both events. In 1972, he established a British best of fourth in the individual event and the team finished ninth. His fourth and final Olympics finally produced a medal, while he was only 15th as an individual, the veteran Fox helped the British team capture the gold medal.
