Member of the College Football Hall of Fame
Frederickson was sixth in the Heisman Trophy voting in 1964 playing for Auburn and was selected number one overall in the N.F.L. draft by the New York Giants. He played six seasons for the Giants, appearing in the 1965 Pro Bowl and accumulated 2,209 yards in his career. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1994.
