Three-time N.F.L. Pro Bowl selection

"White Shoes" was best remember for his touchdown dance, but he was selected as a member of the N.F.L.'s 75th anniversary team as a punt returner. The graduate of Division III Widener College, Johnson is a member of the College Football Hall of Fame. He was the M.V.P. of the 1976 N.F.L. Pro Bowl thanks to a 90 yard touchdown run. He spent his career (1974-'88) with the Oilers, Falcons and Redskins and returned 282 punts in his career for 3,317 yards, both were records upon his retirement in 1988. He played in the Pro Bowl in 1975, '77 and '83. Johnson played for the Montreal Alouettes of the C.F.L. in 1981. He was a member of the N.F.L. All-1980's Team.
