Two Time Pro Bowl Selection

Matte played college ball at Ohio State and was the 7th selection overall in the 1961 N.F.L. draft by the Baltimore Colts. He was also drafted by the New York Titans of the A.F.L. A running back, matte spent twelve seasons with the Colts and played in the Pro Bowl in 1968 & '69 and was a member of the Colts team that won Super Bowl V.
