Best remembered for his World Series winning home run in game 7 of the 1960 World Series for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Mazeroski is one of the best defensive second basemen of all time. Playing for the Pirates from 1956 to '72, Mazeroski was an all-star seven times (1958-'60, '62-'64 and '67). He also won eight Gold Gloves (1958, '60, '61, '63-'67). He was elected to Hall of Fame in 2001.
