Three Time Pro Bowl Selection
Metcalf was a second round selection out of Penn State by the Baltimore Colts. He played six seasons for the Colts and appeared in three Pro Bowls (1975- '77). Each season he eclipsed 1,000 yards rushing and helped the Colts to the A.F.C. Eastern Divison title. He also led the N.F.L. in pass receptions in 1974 and '77. He played for the San Diego Chargers in 1978 and '79 and two gmaes for the Los Angeles Rams in 1980. Mitchell was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 2004.
