1975 National League Rookie of the Year
"The Count" was 15-9 with a 2.88 E.R.A. for the San Francisco Giants in 1975, winning the Rookie of the Year Award. He was an All-Star selection in 1976, when he went 16-14 with a 2.84 E.R.A. and led the National League with six shutouts. Montefusco played 13 seasons for the Giants, Atlanta Braves, San Diego Padres and New York Yankees. He finished his career with a record of 90-83.
