Two Time N.F.L. Pro Bowl selection
Montgomery was a sixth round pick out of Alibene Christian University by the Philadelphia Eagles in 1977 and played his first seven seasons with the Eagles before finishing his career with the Detroit Lions in 1985. He rushed for over 1,000 yards in 1978, '79 and '81. In the 1980 N.F.C. championship game against Dallas, he led the Eagles into the Super Bowl by rushing for over 200 yards. He was a Pro Bowl selection in 1979 and '80, and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1996. Montgomery was the running backs coach for the Baltimore Ravens from 2008 to 2013 and earned a Super Bowl ring in 2013.
