Robson began his career with West Bromwich Albion in 1974 and the transferred to Manchester United in 1981 for £1.7 million. He captained the team until 1994 in which time United won the F.A. Cup in 1983, '85 and '90. He appeared for England in the World Cup in 1982, '86 and '90. Robson accumulated 90 international caps, 65 of which were as captain. Robson scored 97 goals for United and 26 for England in his career.
