Five-Time All-Star
In 18 seasons, all with the Kansas City Royals, White was a 5 time all-star (1978, '79, '81, '82 and '86). He was the American League Gold Glove second baseman in 1977-'82, '86 and '87. A .255 lifetime hitter, White helped lead the Royals to their only world championship in 1985. He also won the A.L.C.S. M.V.P. award in 1980. White finished his career with a .255 average and 160 home runs.
