Member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame

Young was a wide receiver and running back who played for the Minnesota Vikings from 1965 to '66 and then came to the C.F.L. to play for the British Columbia Lions from 1967 to '79. He was the Most Outstanding Canadian in 1970 & '72, was an All-Star in '72. Young was inducted into the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1991 and is also a member of Canada's Sports Hall of Fame in 2002.
