1977 SUPERTEAMS BASEBALL PRELIMINARY
The Cincinnati Reds had already swept the Yankees in the 1976 World Series, and now added insult to injury with a humiliating 7-0 sweep of the Superteams. It was the only sweep in Superteams history. After this event, Yankee owner George Steinbrenner put a clause in each player contract, barring them from participating in Superstars events. The Yankees never again appeared in Superteams. I do not have the complete results, nor the Yankee participants.
