1975 World Pro Skiing Champion
The World Pro Champion in 1975, Kashiwa was a member of the U.S. National team from 1967 to 1972 and competed in the 1972 Olympics in Sapporo, finishing 21st in the giant slalom and 25th in the downhill. Kashiwa later served as a commentator for C.B.S. Sports and covered the Olympic Winter Games in 1992, '94 and '98.
