Three Time World Water Ski Champion
Grimditch won the jump at the 1971 World Championships, the tricks in 1973 and the jump again in 1975. When water skiing was included as a demonstration sport at the 1972 Olympics, Grimditch finished second in both the slalom and tricks events. Grimditch set a world jump record of 1969 feet in 1972 and another world record of 180 feet in 1975. He was inducted into the Water Ski Hall of Fame in 1986.
